All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace

All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace

I like to think (and
the sooner the better!)
of a cybernetic meadow
where mammals and computers
live together in mutually
programming harmony
like pure water
touching clear sky.

I like to think
(right now please!)
of a cybernetic forest
filled with pines and electronics
where deer stroll peacefully
past computers
as if they were flowers
with spinning blossoms.

I like to think
(it has to be!)
of a cybernetic ecology
where we are free of our labors
and joined back to nature,
returned to our mammal
brothers and sisters,
and all watched over
by machines of loving grace.

Oracle Apex Mobile App

I have built this Mobile Oracle Apex app on a hosting provider showing temperatures on Greek islands. I used jQuery libraries and Oracle Apex Templates. This is a learning prototype.

Features include:

1.Hourly calls to Yahoo Weather API
2.Static Google map API call to show the island on the map
3.More than 1 year daily temperature records to compare with current temperature, per island o. Google charts API
4.Learn the locations of 100+ Greek islands on the map

I am thinking of enriching the database behind this app with other relevant info.

To reach the app point your iPhone to URL below:
